I just found out my AMH is 157.5. Essentially, I have the most polycystic ovaries in the world. Just wondering if anyone else has this issue, and what impact it has had on your AC journey?
I'm currently doing OI with FSH, but it seems this cycle will now be more about researching drug dosages for IVF than anything else. FS expects me to ether not respond (I'm on 50iu of Gonal F at the moment) or totally over-respond. They'll then know what dose to start me on for what will probably be a feeze all IVF cycle. Please, someone tell me I'm not the only one!? |

I couldn't read and not respond - wow that is a high AMH! I thought mine was high-ish, at around 48.
It sounds like your specialists are taking care, which is great - they did the same for me, started off very low to see how I would respond. I also had scans and bloods every two days at a minimum, to ensure the follicles didn't race ahead. I never even ended up close to OHSS, so I hope that is the same for you. I did three full stim cycles in around 8 months, got 8 and 9 eggs on the first two (unsuccessful) and 21 (!) on the third, 17 of which were mature. However we only had 3 embryos by day 5, one transferred and two succumbed so no frosties. That one embryo was a keeper It is very common for the first cycle to be a "tryout" to see how your body responds. Best of luck |

It sounds like you are in good hands and they are doing everything to make the cycle a success and reduce the risks of OHSS. From your post I am not sure if you have been diagnosed with PCOS and if you are being treated for that? I am not sure how much of a difference it makes to reducing over stimulation because I had the opposite problem. Good luck and I hope you find that your current dose ends up being the perfect amount for you.
