My sister gave birth this afternoon to a baby boy wub.gif . After an hour or two in hospital recovering, she had a shower and headed home. She then got a phone call from work saying they were short staffed and needed someone to close up, so she's gone to do it. Seriously, who does that??

Some people are WAY to committed to their jobs, lol.

Lucky her for recovering so quickly!

blink.gif Now THAT's dedication. By closing up, though, is it just locking up or doing a whole shift?

woah, yeah I agree with your sentiment! WHO in their right mind does do that?

Did she say erm, I just had a baby , eff off and they insisted, or was it a case of they didn't know she'd already had the baby and she didn't tell them? How depserate can you be that you can't get anyone else to close up except the hours new mother?

I'm baffled

I'm actually not sure, my dad rang when I was putting DD2 to bed and told DH. Hopefully it's just closing up!

I like them sweet.
Wow.

Even I wouldn't be bouncing back to work 2 hours after having a child and I'm a self confessed workaholic.
