Hi, I thought I was eligible to receive the schoolkids bonus, I have two in fulltime primary school and receive FTB but I have yet to receive any payments. I never claimed ETR in past years, as I didn't realize you could claim, then when I was informed about claiming from a tax refund specialist it then all changed to this schoolkids bonus. So im not sure if that's the reason why I never received any payments due to not claiming ETR?? I have contacted centrelink, tho only through their email system, I haven't heard back, so im guessing, next step is to get in the queue and give them a call! Eeeek

Maybe you have not notified them that your kids are in school?

Do you receive your FTB fortnightly or at EOFY? If at end of financial year then that is when you are likely to receive it.

Im not sure if I have notified centrelink of my children being in fulltime school, I have given so much information to them since having kids that it all becomes a blur!! LOL...but yes Heather11 I do receive FTB payments at the end of financial year, so that is probably why I haven't received anything. Thanks for the heads up guys original.gif

Do you receive both FTB A & B?
You need to be getting FTB A to be eligible for School Kids Bonus.

Just a FYI. If you have a look through the managing money section, there was a thread in there that had links for the SKB and centrelink links for notifying etc.
