spinach and paneer dhal
tandoori chicken
lamb rogan josh (if lamb has been simmering for hours and is tender)
biriyani (the proper biriyani, that takes a few hours to cook and is in distinct layers)
roti/chopati

Indian.

Chicken Jalfrezi or Dopiaza, Rogan Josh, Dhal, naan and always the mixed pickle. With the rice cooked at home to be cheap!

Indian

I'd get (more than normal cos it's a special occasion)

Samosas or Pakoras
Tandoori Lamb Cutlets
Shahi paneer (paneer in butter chicken sauce) or malai kofta
Saag chicken
Rice
Plain Naan
Gulab Jaman if they make good ones (not canned!)

*sigh* I've already bought stuff to cook dh a seafood dinner but Indian sounds so good...
