IUD post partum, When did the bleeding stop?

I had a non-hormonal IUD put in almost 2 weeks ago on the second day of my first period since my second DD was born. I'm wondering when the bleeding will stop. My doctor warned me it could take a while to settle down but I'm curious about others and their experience. I'm getting over it a bit now and not sure i could take a month of bleeding! TIA ladies!

I had the copper IUD put in on my 5th day of my periods. After about two week of spotting I had my first periods with the IUD and it lasted for 15 days!!!! After that I had spotting again till my next period which last about ten days. Now my periods are regular and accurate but are really heavy. IUD was the best thing I done.
