I've decided to get the baby jogger versa
I'm thinking of buying direct from the US - does anyone have any positive or negative advice for this? Also they're 750 retail here, what kind of prices might you expect for sales? I've never followed pram prices before so I have no idea what kind of prices might be offered Thanks

I am interested in the answers to this as well. In particular, whether not having a warranty due to buying OS is really a big deal?

Hi
I bought my versa from the US and I love it. It was caught up in that batch that had a fault with the locking mechanism. However, when I contacted Baby Jogger US they FedExed me a brand new frame and they paid all shipping costs. There was a voluntary recall though so that may be why it was all so easy! |

I bought my versa in Australia as US shipping prices were quite expensive so the $ saving wasn't that great, especially since I got the bassinet and the car seat adaptor at the same time. It's nice to support AU businesses too.
I got the bassinet + pram bundle from Thinkprams: http://www.thinkprams.com.au/baby-jogger-c...bassinet-bundle I thought it wasnt a bad deal. I also got the pram much quicker, no warranty worries etc.. Also my pram was affected by the recall but baby jogger Australia sent me out a new one hassle free. I believe the only difference between the US and AU version is the red brake handle. I think AU prams are required to have this colour but not 100% sure. Not really sure about sales but thinkprams has the silver versa for $675 |
