Hi there

Well on the coming weeked, I have arranged a two night stay at a nice hotel. It will be my first two night stay away from my children (the eldest is nearly 8) EVER! I could also count the number of overnight stays on one hand too, so a pretty special event for me and DH.

So, its for DH's birthday and our wedding anniversay is soon so I want to do some little things to make it a bit special. I have already started buying the nibbles that we like, cream cheese and sweet chilli sauce dip, pepperoni, sundried tomatoes, water crackers etc.

But, I would like to buy the ingredients for a great tasting shot/shooter.

DH is a beer drinker and I like vodka/lemonade but we do like a shooter or two.

(Not sure of EB ettiquette here so....)

Friend suggested one called a Wet Pussy - its vodka, peach schnaps, lime and cranberry juice.

Whats your suggestion?

I can't shoot spirits anymore. I overdid it in my youth...

The only shooter I really like these days is a c*cksucking cowboy - baileys and butterscotch schnapps. It's probably classed as a bogan shooter but tastes divine IMO.

I've had friends rave about jam donuts - I think the glass is rimmed with sugar and is raspberry liqueur and baileys.

I think I just like baileys a lot. ph34r.gif

Oh, and squashed frogs - Midori, and advocaat and grenadine.

Thanks girls

We had csc's a couple of months ago so, love 'em, but looking for something different this time.

Thanks for link hayleys mum, started to ook thru these and found there was some 200 of them. Narrowed down to a main mixer ingredient (vodka) then went off on a totally different tangent.

This is what I came up with:-

Chocolate Lesbian

Chambord black raspberry liqueur
Kahlua
cinnamon

Layer chambord over kahlua and sprinkle with cinnamon. Not sure if DH will love it but Im sure I will (welllll.....thats the main thing isnt it Tounge1.gif)

After thinking about Chocolate Lesbians overnight, I think that they will be a bit too rich, and not really to DH's favourite, more like my favourites.

Hes more of a lemon sort of fellow so I thought Id buy a bottle of that limoncello and see what I can make.
