So last week there was a car parked outside our house. As we live in a court this was a bit unusual, but the fact that there was a bloke sitting in it even more so. I thought maybe it was a friend waiting for someone to come home maybe?

Anyhow this morning DH went to work and he was back. DH said he drove past and the bloke ducked his head a bit.

So enough of this I thought. DS and I were heading out so I buckled DS in the car and went and knocked on his window.

Turns out he is a private investigator, he gave me a card and I rang the local police station to confirm (they checked his rego number)

So now of course I can't stop trying to guess what neighbor is up to what nefarious deed?

Any suggestions EB?

EFS.

Probably just someone on compo - they are checking to see if they go out to work, or carry the bins out or whatever.

Mum to two boys!! :O
Yep Compo.

I used to work in that system and was chatting to a PI one day. He told me this story about how he was staking out this house in the bush one day when he got a tap on the shoulder and these cops said "thanks mate, we'll take it from here". The compo claimant was one Ivan Milat. ohmy.gif

You may not realise it, but the couple in no. xyz - you know them, he's older than her by, oooh, 30 years, and she has the pneumatically enhanced body and bleached blond hair? - are actually quite well off.

He made a fortune through his own business and then made a squillion when he sold it a few years back so he could enjoy his retirement. But he came from good blue collar stock and didn't want to look like a C.U.B, so lives a quite life (except for those fantastic holidays).

Problem is, Trophy Wife thought his arms would be a bit longer - or his pockets a bit shorter - than they are and has started fooling around with a sugar daddy.

But her husband isn't quite as senile as she thinks and is determined to catch her out, thus ensuring that water-tight pre-nup they signed doesn't spring any leaks....

Oooooooh!

Fun!

Gosh my imagination it too lavish to make suggestions. In reality it is probably something dull and boring like a workers comp. claim.

Although maybe, maybe... you have Lord Lucan in your street?!
