Gday Dads
The dad zone seems to be the quietest part of these forums so I'm going to attempt to give it some life. So what cool thing did you do with your kid(s) today? I took DS2 out shopping solo for the first time today. He's coming up 6 weeks so I strapped on the carrier and hit the mall. Not that we did a lot while there, browse through EBs and JBs, grab some food for dinner, but it's something I've been doing with DS1 since birth and I was glad to go out with new guy. With DS1 I got to lay on the bed and watch a movie with him. He's only 14mths so most of time he was playing around and ignoring the movie but it was fun anyway. Shame tomorrow is a work day |

Nice work on the baby wearing front, good to see a Dad doing that
I was working today, so not much kid time. My 2yr and I actually got some good play time this evening, which is unusual, normally the 4yr old wants the attention Tomorrow will be interesting, I'm skiving a day off to participate in a study on traumatic births, but from the father's point of view. See how many tissues I can get through! 6wks and 14 moths aye? That's a close gap. My brother and I have that gap |

Yeah that'll teach us for jumping back in the saddle too quick
How many tissues? Haven't had much time to really do anything with the kids this week. Working, cooking, bathing the brats, zzzzzzzzz. Got to take DS1 to a swimming lesson but it was cut short when someone spotted a floater and we all had to abandon the pool....apparently its a fairly common occurrence Fingers cross for a better time this week. |
