Hi! DS birthday is coming up. He will be six. Since he was four he has wanted light up sneakers. I thought he would have grown out of it by now but he still wants some. He is too old for the character ones so I thought I would get some Skechers online. Not so easy. Skechers don't have a store in SA and I cannot seem to find them anywhere here! I have found some great ones in the USA for $32 but the postage is $38!! Does anyone know stores that carry them apart from the Skechers stores. I wonder if I rang the stores in other states if they would post them out? I figure if he has wanted them for so long I should get some for his birthday. Can anyone help? I have emailed the Skechers site (yesterday) but no reply yet.

TIA!

You can get them in the DFO store in canberra- they might post them to you. I've seen the light up ones there.

They are $60 to $70 brand new. So the ones from the Us even with postage are not to bad.

DD2 loves hers. Every time someone comments she has to give them a demo.

I bought some for my nephew for Christmas. Bought them from Amazon for around $20 plus postage (which was $4, but only because I was buying other items. If you only buy the shoes I think postage is around $14). Arrived in around 1-2 weeks.

I got some for my DD (size 12 or 13) from Myers in Dec 2011 and at the time I also saw them in Shoes & Sox.

ETA - I wasn't looking for boys ones at the time so didn't notice if they had them or not.
