Girls name - help!

Hi All We have bub #2 due next month. We have 2 boys names and I'm happy with both of those but I'm having trouble finding/agreeing on a girls name we both really like. It's such a big decision. Short list at the moment is: Matilda (nn Tilly) Heidi Mieke DD1 is Sienna so something that flows with that. I love Layla but it got a definate no from hubby. Thanks for any opinions/suggestions.

I like Matilda, love Heidi, but don't think it really goes with Sienna. How do you pronounce Mieke - is it like Meeka? Unless you have northern European ancestry it seems a bit over the top as people will struggle with the pronunciation. What about another Italian name like Lenora, Melita, Renata or Bianca (although that might be too matchy!).

We would pronounce Mieke "Meeka". We have northern European ancestry (including our surname).Surname does have a few pronounciations so it might get on my wick having to correct both first and surname all the time. This post has been edited by MumTV: 11/02/2013, 08:03 PM

Marieke then. Pronounced with 3 syllables to go with Sienna.
