We named our DD Emilia. I don't worry if people think it's Amelia, they always figure it out once they see it written.
They are pronounced differently, but most people dont pay close enough attention to notice. It doesn't really bother me, but she's only a month old! |

I have worked with one of each and I actually say them differently. They/it is one name we can actually agree on for a girl.

I like that Emilia lends itself to the nickname Millie. I like both names but she might be mistaken for Amelia. It depends how important this is for you.
