Hello,
I am a mother of 3 child and were successful pregnancy. My youngest is just over 2 years old and I have no idea why I keep m/c ? My longest pregnacy was 13 weeks only to find out at my routine ultrasound that there was no heart beat. Prior to that pregnancy I was expecting twice and m/c when I was just over 5 weeks. After m/c I went as far as 9 weeks and m/c and then again carried twice and was once again 5 weeks or more m/c. Now I am miscarrying atm and was hoping this time around I would be able to carry this pregnancy. I am still waiting on a obgyn to call me for an appoinment. I am just at that point when I talk to my family that they think " same old subject" when I want to talk and how I am feeling. |

I am so sorry for your loss and previous losses. You are not alone in your heartache. And from what I've seen of the kind people on the forums here, you are not alone and everyone here is happy to talk with you.
On another note, has your OB called you for an appointment? squeeky wheel gets attention, call back? has your Ob done tests to try to find out why you previously miscarried? Could maybe an ivf/fertility clinic help? |

Very sorry to hear of your losses and what you're going through right now. It sounds like you're getting pregnant easily but not staying pregnant, which seems to be my difficulty as well. I've been there 6 times, 4 in the last year or so.
You mentioned you're waiting for your obgyn to call back, but have you been able to get into a miscarriage or early pregnancy clinic at a hospital? Or someone who specialises in recurrent miscarriage to get some tests done? Even getting testing, sometimes you still get an answer that no one knows why you're miscarrying. For me, "most probably" my miscarriages have been age-related and also I have a higher-range reading for natural killer cells. NK cells is newly developing miscarriage research, so not all clinics may test for it. No matter the explanations for miscarrying, it's so diffiicult to go through, especially without the support you need. Feel free to express your feelings here on the forum. It's a safe and empathetic environment. Big hugs. |
