Ok so I was due for AF on Sat and it still isnt' here, so the question is how long can I hold out till I test??

We have been trying for a year exactly (I went off the pill Feb 2012) had a miscarriage late last year, now this original.gif While I am happy I am also worried I was just at the dr on Thursday cause I have a lump in my breast so had a scan on that on Friday and I haven't got results back yet so I am stressing over that, so maybe AF is just late cause of my stress???

Anyway I have no real symptoms either I do feel a tad 'funny in the belly' but again that might be stress and I have just worried myself sick, and I am ALWAYS hungry. but that is it.........

Anyway!! Just had to share original.gif

Stress from last week won't delay your AF. It is stress around ovulation time that causes a delay in your AF. So assuming that you weren't stressed around your ovulation time then it's looking good for a BFP for you original.gif

Having said that, I have never in my life been even one day late and all of a sudden I start ttc and i'm late almost every month by a couple of days so I guess you just don't know until you test. But if you are already a couple days late then i would say test away original.gif

Ps. Good luck with the scan of the breast. Positive thoughts sent your way and hope all is ok original.gif

I tested and BFN.gif (well there is a faint faint line there but it is super faint that I can only just see it if I look cross eyed at it lol so it's to faint to even say yes it's there so I class it as a BFN) I was so sure all the signs were looking so positive, I am even feeling nauseous all day and today is worst then yesterday so now I am worried why am I feeling nauseous if I am not preg :/ grrrrr, why does my body have to do this to me?? I am never late maybe a day early but never late........

So now to wait till AF arrives!!!

Could just be the test you used isn't very sensitive. Were they a brand name test or just internet cheapies?

A faint line is still a line - there has to be some hcg in your system to give you even the faintest of lines.

It could be possible that a) you are pregnant and very early, or b) you are having a chemical pregnancy?

Hope you are ok. I know it can be a testing time sad.gif As much as I enjoy that time of month and the hope it brings... i hate that time of month and the confusion it brings!

Good luck original.gif
