Hey everybody, newbie to the boards, so please excuse me if I mess something up wink.gif

Mr. Meatball and I are expecting our first baby girl and we're trying to decide on a first name. We have already compiled a list but wanted the public's opinion to narrow it down.

The middle name is already set on Carla but we're also toying with the idea of going for Carly instead.

Here are the options:
1. Aleena Carla meaning: good looking
2. Amaline Carla meaning: hard worker
3. Cassidy Carla meaning: clever
4. Hailey Carla meaning: ingenious
5. Madeline Carla meaning: tower of strength
6. Sadie Carla meaning: mercy

So, we'd love to hear your opinion on the first names and on which middle name sounds better and maybe even some other ideas that we haven't thought of yet!

Thanks in advance and we're looking forward to your opinions! original.gif

I like Sadie Carla. I like PPs suggestion of Emmeline also.

When I'm not posting, I'm PINNING!
VERY partial to "Aleena" personally, but we spelled it differently - see sig... You might want to change Carla to Carly though? We first saw the name when driving through NSW on our honeymoon and saw a sign for a town named: Alleena.

Where we found the meaning and origin.

Congratulations on your pregnancy original.gif

I'm a little bit biased because I love Hailey because it is on my top five list for girls names (because I don't know what I am having). I think I prefer Carly to Carla, but if you were very set on it then there must be a good reason for it so I would stick to your guns.
