I've read so many threads with people raving about Rose Hip Oil and would like to know what it is that's so good? I've been meaning to try but keep forgetting.

EB users, please tell me why you love it & the benefits to your skin original.gif

Thank you!

The theory behind it is that it is very high in vitamin c, which assists with skin repair and regeneration. In reality, I use it because it feels and smells luxurious, and makes my skin glow.

It doesnt smell very nice, but it does make your skin glow.

The best way to use it is straight after a shower and your skin is still damp. It absorbs quicker that way. I only use it at night, its just too greasy for daytime.

I have tried a few brands and some are definitely better than others. I personally love the A'Kin and Trilogy RH oils, but there are others that I really didn't like. PP, maybe you tried a bad one?

I have some, and I use it because I have it. i don't find it has done anything miraculous for my skin. In winter, it's a great moisturiser. That's about it. It does smell funny.

Am I the only one who thinks it smells like you've put cooking oil on your face - makes me feel greasy and nauseous when I use it? Ill be the one person who hates it!

Nope didn't like it at all. Didn't do a single thing for me.

I friend gave me a bottle after my second for stretch marks and while it was nice enough, it didn't anything for the stretch marks. I also used it on my face and again, it was nice, but nothing amazing happened. It's worth trying though.

ETA There would definitely be differences in brands and the quality of the oil.

I used it on my face for a week, just a small amount. The following week I was covered in those little white dots and they still haven't seemed to go away..
