Ok I wasn't concerned until now but I'm starting to get a little flustered about this;
I'm 22 weeks with number 2! DS1 was delivered via emergency CS after a very long and awful labour!! I'd like an elective CS this time round! We are moving and will arrive in our new post code when I hit approx 26 weeks. I'm not booked in anywhere but I do have an appointment at my local hospital a few days after we arrive at our new house, also OB appointment a few days after that! Should I be worried that I'm not actually booked in anywhere? Second dilemma...... We are moving to somewhere I know nobody! The last 2 weeks of my pregnancy are our biggest events of the year in regards to our line of work. Both hubby and I are self employed and run our business. It's out of the question for him not to attend! SO....... Do I stay home on my own while everyone else is at said event some 5hrs away? Or do I go with them? What if I go into labour?? This is really starting to freak me out:-( |

If you have an appointment at the new hospital, isn't that when you do the booking in paperwork? Maybe just call the hospital & Obs and ask?
Depends where the event is. If there's suitable hospital near the event then you could go. Otherwise you should probably stay home. Maybe look into hiring a doula & babysitter. |
