Is there a certain figure tgat should be checked out?

I had an ob appt on Wednesday and my bp wad 105/74 and she commented it was low but nothing to be worried about. Today my bp is 94/66, so a bit lower. I also have been quite light headed the last few days and a bit dizzy.

I have no idea though if low bp is ok in pregnancy or if theres a too low point, or anything that needs to be checked out.

TIA

I had mild GD and at my first appointment with the specialist my BP was 70/50. When I'm not pregnant it is usually around 90/60 or 70. Generally it's only a problem if it causes you symptoms that affect your day to day life.

Who checked it today? What did they say?

There is no figure that is concerning, it depends on the individual. I have low bp normally, sits around 90/60. Perfectly fine. In pregnancy it is normal for bp to be lower as you have a higher circulating blood volume. Mine sits around 80/60.

Main things to be wary of are postural hypotension, when your bp suddenly drops when you stand up. Take your time standing up, always sit on the edge of your bed in the morning before getting up. Also ensure you drink plenty of fluids and beware of your limitations, if you feel dizzy, sit down, even on the floor if you need to, much better than falling down.

I know its common for your blood pressure to be higher or lower at different stages of pregnancy, for example i think usually lower during the second trimester when you have to supply a lot of extra blood vessels but your body may not have created quite the extra blood volume required.

Mine has generally been sitting around 100/60, i'm 37 weeks now so it tends to be more around 100-120/70

I also have low BP and a few days ago my BP was 98/50 (it was also low during DD's pg). I do sometimes get dizzy when getting up too quickly, so have to be careful! It's normally around 110/65. Low BP in pg seems fairly common and none of my care providers have been worried when I've told them of my home readings. I will get a bit more water/fluids into me though.

It's odd. My BP is usually 80/50 and goes up in pregnancy.

Mine has been 95/65 a few times this pregnancy and was once 95/61 I think - it tends to be lower in early/mid pregnancy but gets higher towards the end.
I don't think it is usually a problem unless you are fainting.
Just make sure you get up slowly.
