Slaps, fiddles, squirms around, waves his arms about. I just feed him now and he was pulling on my hair. DS really is a fidget, can't stay still for a second.

DD used to scratch my chest with her little sharp fingernails that I was to scared to cut. I had a saying 'no mittens, no milk!'.
DS was such a pig he just used to suck and drink really really fast. And then burp. And then poo. |

My 3 month DD hits me on my chest, pinches and scratches my arm and pushes the breast away with her fist so the nipple gets stretched. Ouch!

I get slapped on one side only - a MACH nurse said maybe my let down was different on that side.. I also get fingers in the mouth, pulled earrings, raspberries blown at me, and a lot of squirming and giggling.

Over the course of his 15 month life DS has at one stage or another farted, pooed, stroked my skin, stuck his fingers in my mouth, twiddled my hair, pinched the skin under my arm, pinched the other nipple, stuck his bum in the air and waved it around, pulled off the nipple at the point of let down so he could lap it up like a puppy (yeah nice one in public, not!), stuck his fingers up my nose, played with toys/my necklace/watch/glasses....
And sometimes, just sometimes, he consents to snuggle in and look up at me with his gorgeous brown eyes as he drifts off to sleep |

DS would hold the other boob. It felt like he was saying “Don’t worry other boob I will get to you soon, I still love you”. He is nearly three and still pops his hand down the shirt (so he still loves them). He was also a guzzler – still very food orientated.

DS always twisted my necklace around from as early as I can remember. Clearly he was a few months old before he could lift his hand and grab it but it is so entwined in my memories of feeding him that it feels like he did it from day 1.
I had to stop wearing it after he broke it. I put it back on a couple of months ago after he weaned and recently after a shower he started twirling it! I love that he remembers it. |

I ended up with a big black bruise from my daughter pinching my boob and twisting it in her hand. Lately she has started coming away from the nipple and then grabbing it - ouch, sharp little nails on wet nipple is not pleasant!
