Can you please help my husband and I agree on a boy's name we would both like? We're not pregnant but TTC.

Our DD is Rosemary and we want something to match it.

My husband has okay'd

Harry
Owen
Thomas
James

But has refused

Henry
Oscar
Oswald
Walter
Odin
Alexander
Ethan
Edward (thanks Twilight, even though my grandfather is called this)

Now the names he has approved don't jump out at me hugely. I want something 'old world' but not so old world people will think he's going on 90.

Any suggestion would be great thanks! original.gif

I've got a friend who wants to call her son Edwin, but I think it might be a bit old mannish.

Call him Henry and use Harry as the nickname, like Prince harry does. Win win then!

Darcy Nathan or Nathaniel

It depends what your last name is too, sometimes the first name just doesn't go with a surname.

Love Harry and Owen out of your names. James is too overdone.
