So... I told my husband I liked the name "Cooper" and he saw right through me.
"We are NOT naming our child after Cooper Cronk!"
Dammit!!

Darren? Hmm no.
Locky? No.

What other NRL inspired names can you think of?

Wow, that's quite a list original.gif

I like the sound of Corey but it doesn't sound "quite right" with our surname. Damn! sad.gif I know a baby named "Nate" after Nate Myles. Love the name Nate but, again, sounds awful with our surname.

DS1 is Cooper named after Cooper Cronk & this baby was close to bei called Slater as my Billy wasn't an option (its my dad & brothers names well William is and on DH's side he has 2 nephews with William as a middle name, his dad, his brother in law) so overturned.

We are massive storm fans and travel to Melbourne a lot to watch them play, have storm number plates (we are in QLD) have signed jerseys, pictures etc so it was a possibility with us but everyone hated Slater as a first name sad.gif

Warning - occasional attempts at humour - not always successful
Well, I have a nephew who is Quade and a cousin had a boy called Stirling, so you can figure which code the extended family prefer.

We had Walter on the list (there was also Diego - we knew we were having a girl)

The only NRL based name I would even contemplate would be Craig even though Craig Wing, who I would base this name on, no longer plays NRL. He's a nice, intelligent, kind and very good looking male wub.gif
