HiI had a D&C yesterday after my second missed miscarriage. Feeling pretty down, and just wondering if anyone has experienced the same, then gone on to have a successful pregnancy?
I don't want to go through this again, but at the same time, i don't want to give up.

Hi there, couldn't read and not respond. I have also had 2 mc and d&c each time. My second was in Sept last year. I am only just TTC again now and have such mixed feelings. I am scared to try in a number of ways because I don't know whether I could bring myself to try yet again if the third goes the same way. We are trying for our first child so it is all so unknown and daunting. But I have seen so many posts of success after multiple mc that I know statistically the odds are still on my side that I will be successful, so I try to remind myself of that. Hang in there and be kind to yourself and go back to TTC when you are ready. Hopefully we can both be third time lucky. Best wishes and best of luck.

I feel for you, I have had my second miscarriage one after the other. I don't think I could handle a third

I know what u mean. To go through it again would be awful, but the sad truth is, out of 100 pregnancies only 40% go on to be successful. I wa shocked to hear that statistic. I saw it on The Doctors the other day. Many women go through it. Not nice at all. All the best

I had 2 misscarriages last year, both requiring a d&c. I was scared about trying again and having a 3rd miscarriage in a row. I've since fallen pregnant again and I'm currently at the stage where I miscarried the first time, only a few days off 12 weeks. At the moment, as far as I'm aware everything is going alright, but I still can't help but stress and worry about it happening again. Will know in a few days time what's going on. Fingers crossed 3rd time is the lucky one.

Just wanted to wish you all the best with trying again and fingers crossed 3rd time is the lucky one for you too.

Hi OP, I too am a member of this club as you will see from my signature. We have just finished another IVF cycle where I am 4 weeks but have been told to expect another MC which will make 3 in 6 months. My advice to you is to only try when you think you can deal with this. I will find out officially on Tuesday with a second blood test what is really happening. This is the day that I was supposed to be having our first child. I thought that I could deal with this but it is very trying, frustrating and emotional. I hope that your journey gets easier from here.Good luck.
