Got an odd text message today saying that police have made contact with supportlink to arrange a support agency to contact me. I have no idea why could it be a spam or wrong mobile no perhaps?

Likely a wrong number - can you call the number you got the text from/is there a number in the text you can call?

There isn't a text from number but is a phone no in the text.

Sounds like a wrong number. You could either call support link or wait until the agency calls your number then explain.

Generally the police would discuss a referral with you so you would know...

If there's a contact number in the text then try calling that - if someone's transposed a number or someone else has put a mobile number into the system wrong then the messages might be important for the person they're intended for- if you can give the people/agency who called the heads up that they've got the number wrong hopefully they can get the right number so that the person they're notifying can be contacted.
