Hi, can anyone help me with this:

I would like to create printable vouchers from existing spreadsheet information. Is this at all possible?

The only information I have come across is setting and using 'data entry forms' which is ok for new info but doesn't help me for existing information

I am googling but not coming up with anything - I may be using the wrong terminology. Same problem with Excel Help function

Any help would be really appreciated

TIA

It sounds like you want to do a merge.

It may be easier to set up the voucher in Word and just pull the data from the spreadsheet in Excel.

Could you open word, create the voucher and mail merge the other data?

see? I KNEW EB would come to the rescue!

And the solution is so darn simple! I feel a bit stupid but very thankful that I have a answer.

One more dumb question - can I print multiple, seperate -entry vouchers on one a4 page (eg 6 per page) or should I invest in smaller size sheets for printing (like labels but not sticky)

Thanks, EB!

You can print multiple vouchers on one sheet, you would need to set a continuous section break between each voucher. I'd offer to help you with it, but I don't have Office on my laptop.

You can print multiple personalised vouchers per page .... it would probably be easiest to use the label wizard in word foe the set up, then mail merge and print on plain paper.

Sometimes under the printing options you can click on how many pages per sheet, so you can print the one A4 page design up to 8 times (from memory) onto one a4 page printed.
Lol if that made any sense original.gif

You mail merge from word, there is a wizard to help i think.... so you set up your page, labels if it's a fairly simple design, then find the mail merge option in the tabs at the top. It should walk you through where to get your 'source data' from (your spreadsheet), then you tell it where you want each piece of info to go by adding in 'fields' (《name》《address》《code》 etc) to your voucher. Sorry, I hope I'm making sense, it's been a long time since I used office and I'm only on my phone here!
