Hi

I have (stupidly stupidly stupidly) ended up buying the wrong pram for our area (no footpaths, roadworks going on etc etc).

I really need a pram with inflatable/pneumatic tyres.
I would like one that can either take a 2nd seat or a skateboard.

Because I'll have to get it 2nd hand having no more pram budget I am wondering what models I should search for online. They may be older models and have no idea which ones are best.

Any ideas please?

TIA

Hi,

I've got a phil & teds vibe that is great off road, big inflatable tyres & suspension. It's got a double kit too - it's listed on gumtree for sale, we're only selling because we won a steelcraft capsule, and with #2 on the way in 5 weeks (and #1 only 21 mths old when the baby arrives) we want to be able to make use of the capsule.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post a link but feel free to PM me.

Baby Jogger's are great and they have foam filled tires which do not puncture and don't need to be inflated unlike the pneumatic tires. I don't know why all prams don't come with these. They are also really easy to push. I have the City Elite and the City Mini GT Double.

Vote for Mountain Buggy Urban - turns on a dime is and is fabulous on non pavements etc. Ours is from 2004 and still going well. Haven't had the board attachment but know plenty of people who have .

We have the mountain buggy urban jungle and it is fantastic for no footpaths, offroad etc.

We need to buy a double so I am looking at the Mountain buggy duet and the baby jogger city mini gt. The Mini GT is new so you probably won't find much second hand, but can you sell the pram you have now to get back some of the cost?

Our next purchase will be our third pram and I know people who are on to their 5th so there is lots of trade in second hand prams!

I have friends who have the board attachment, but these only work for short trips, as the kids don't want to stay on and the parents kick the board as they are walking.

I am going for a double so if the older one gets tired she has somewhere to sit and be contained when I want her to be!
