Hello all, please be gentle with me... I have a top three list and am interested in your favourite
First time Mum here so no sibset to consider, 2 syllable surname starting with M Rhys Heath Miles Heath Henry Heath Im also wondering what people think about choosing a name before meeting LO? Do you think you need to look into bubby's eyes and search for the right fit? |

Great names! The only thing I'm not a fan of is the double H in the initials with Henry.
Rhys is my favourite first name but Miles is my favourite combo. |

From your list I only like Henry. Like the p.p I would probably change the middle name to avoid having a double 'h' sound. What about Henry Miles?

Miles Heath sounds the best from those combos but it would depend on what your surname actually is as to whether I'd use it or not.
Rhys Heath and Henry Heath don't really work for me. |

I like Rhys best from your list. Miles is ok, not a fan of Henry.
The only thing I would consider is the fn and mn are both one syllable; if that doesn't bother you then no problem, but i think a longer fn or mn would have a better flow. |

I quite like all three. I've long since stopped putting too much weight on the middle name flow as it is so rarely used, at least in my family.
That said, I will rank them in order of how each name sounds with the middle: 1 Miles Heath 2 Henry Heath 3 Rhys Heath |

I like Miles Heath myself
In regards to waiting until they are born you can do that too now you have your top three. I thought I was going to do that I had a couple of names but Archer was my favourite and as soon as he was born I knew that was the right choice. I think they end up growing into their name anyway, you don't meet many people who don't "suit" their names |

I don't much like Rhys but I think the other two are lovely. As PP says, now you have a top 3, why not wait till you meet him and see which one seems to fit best?
Congratulations and good luck! |
