Having one of those days! - Depression

Being a mum of a 4 year old and a 4 month old is HARD. Im 21, married, own a house, car, 2 loving children, steady income so everything should be PERFECT right.............NOPE!!! I suffer from Depression since DD1 was born got even worse when DD2 was here. I am medicated and seek counseling but my gosh sometimes it is like no one understands what depression is, does and how your mood can changes. One of those days TODAY!!!!

Oh you poor love! It is hard, you sound like you are doing a great job in spite of having depression. Those days suck, hopefully they don't happen often for you. I agree not many people understand what depression is, I copped that attitude when I had my DS 21 months ago and got post natal depression. Do you have a good friend you can talk to?

Do you have a good friend you can talk to? Hubby is the only one he doesn't quite understand but is the closest to talk to and knows exactly where im coming from. Having what I think is traumatic births with my 2 DD's really puts a big hole inside and have found it hard to move past certain situations not to many days like this but its hard. Wait for DD2 to nap then might try watch a movie or something SWITCH THE MIND OFF!!!

Yeah men find it hard I think, I remember my partner was very supportive, etc but didn't quite know what to do. That sounds great if you can get little one to bed and then relax for a little while and turn the mind off! Sometimes we over think things, well I know I do anyway, things are never as bad as they seem. But that is easy to say, a lot harder to do! Have you spoken to a psychologist or anything about the births? I know that helped me.
