Hello, I have had ultrasounds done a imagin group and Canberra specialist centre. Baby isShowing a slightly concerning large size in his abdomen at 19w (measuring 2 weeksAhead) and 90%tile over all. Doctor has now referredeTo the Canberra fetal assessment centre to track his growth and make sure he is growing at a normal rate. Also going for early GD test on Friday. I'mJust wondering about this centre because I can't find a site online and Ed obviously chosen them for the follow up for a reason as opposed to the others he has sent me to previously. Apologies for ridiculous formatting/punctuation/grammar, I'mOn the iPhone which I am terrible at and also no cursor will appear so can't delete!

The fetal medicine unit is a highly specialised unit within the Canberra Hospital and only deals with complicated or high risk pregnancies. It sounds like your doctor wants you to get the best care so it is good that he referred you there.
I went there for all my pregnancies (as I am high risk) and have nothing but praise for them.
All the best with your follow up scans and the rest of your pregnancy.

Too many freaks, not enough circuses...
Bascially The Canberra Fetal Assessment Centre is a private version of the Fetal Medicine Unit (FMU). There is no reason you can't ask to be sent to FMU as it is exactly the same Dr's at the CFAC they just charge you where at FMU it is all done free.
