My full termer was 2030gm and they did the job. Just pull them tighter. As long as there is no leg hole gap they should absorb everything with no leak.

I had them on my son & he was only 2.7 kg, just do them up as tight as you can, he'll grow into them soon enough. He may have skinny legs like my son did. I found they are really long & come high up his body, but they worked fine.

There are two things I do when the nappy is too big:
1. Fold down the front on the nappy a bit and then do up the tabs normally over the folded bit. 2. Pull the front part up high and then do the tabs up snuggly. |

Yes, DD was full term but newborn size took ages to fit her properly, even Huggies. She was in newborn size until she was about 9 weeks

DS1 was 4.19kgs so he was only in newborn Huggies nappies for about 3 weeks!
DS2 was 3.45kgs and was in newborn Huggies for around 8 weeks I think. I just did them up tighter on his little skinny butt. Even now he wears a smaller size than DS1 did at the same age. This post has been edited by namie: 05/02/2013, 04:00 PM |
