You can use panadol for the fever and pain, and polaramine (Cat A antihistamine) for the runny nose. Polaramine will make you drowsy and feeling dry, so try to minimise the amount you take. Always double check with your pharmacist before you take medications though.

Yep, I've used vaporub, panadol, lots of water and rest, and vitamin c, also a humidifier. There's saline nose drops which can also help with congestion.
Sucks hey!? Hope you get better soon x |

I've just gotten over a bad summer cold. It was excellent for the pelvic floor as I have to squeeze really hard to avoid peeing myself everytime I cough. Go and buy some tena pads

Far out... I hate when people come to work so sick like that Satay! It's so rude! We had a huge problem with that last year. Someone was diagnosed with Swine flu and had come to work? So the poor pregnant ladies here were freaking out. They wouldn't say who had the swine flu either, but heaps of people were sick with a nasty flu so it could have been any of them.
I thought I was coming down with a cold over the weekend too. I rely on my fess and keeping my fluids up. If it gets worse then I'll see my GP and ask what I can take. I love Vicks... |

If you've got congestion issues, try the breathe-right nasal strips. You can get them from the chemist.
