Ok so at 4 weeks pregnant I took a first response TestWhich came up very dark very quickly. Went to the doctors and got the pregnancy confirmed.
I am now 7 weeks exactly and thought just for fun to take another test. It was definitely 2 lines but it was quite faint (both tests were done at the same time on separate days)
Does anyone know if this means anything bad? I am such a worry wart and want to be reassured
Thanks ladies

My OB told me not to test again (I'm a stressor due to a couple of M-MCs) after initial test due to the fluctuations in HCG in the later stages of 1st trimester...
Oestrgen is a more accurate measure

HPT's measure HCG that helps bubs implant. After bubs has already implanted HCG isn't produced as much so the tests show up lighter, and may even show as negative!!
I had a friend who never got a positive HPT because she was already 6 weeks before she realised AF was late and by that point the hormone balance had already changed.. She finally went to the doctors at 9 weeks and had it confirmed by blood test.

I thought HCG rose until around 9 weeks then slowly decreases for the rest of your pregnancy. I don't want to worry you unnecessarily rowbi123 but I would probably go and chat to your GP to see if you can have another blood test so you can know for sure that everything is ok.

It can depend on what time you POS, it can depend on how much you've had to drink or not drink.
I would not stress OP, urine pregnancy tests just show that HCG is in your urine and not how much there is.
Lots of good luck.
