I like the name, however Chelsea Davy is a high profile on-again / off again girlfriend of Prince Harry.

I really like the name Chelsea - however PP does have a good point about Chelsea Davey - especially if she does end up with Prince Harry permanantly.

Re middle names, I would avoid any ending in ee sound as Chelsea Davey both end in ee already - so something like Chelsea Marie, although quite nice with a different surname, gets a bit ee over load to me.

I know a Chelsea Paige and a Chelsea Ann original.gif

It was our number two name, but we were taken with Chelsey (I think that might be the way Harrys gfs name is spelt), can't tell you why we liked it only with a Y.

Said it before and I'll say it again - I obviously like it a lot as that's DD's name original.gif

For the record I agree with the PP's about Prince Harry's Chelsea though.

I love Chelsea! My dd was going to be one at one stage but she suited her name better on the day.

In the country I'm from it had a huge thing in the '80s and '90s and I named a doll Chelsea back in the day. I remember thinking it was the height of charm when I was 11.

I don't really care for it now, though. There are other names I associate with the '80s-'90s I'd prefer.

I think it never had that peak here though? So it doesn't date the same way?
