This is my first semester studying a Bachelor of Social Work and I'm soooooooo happy to say I just finished my end of semester exam and I passed one unit. The second psych unit I have an online quiz for on Wednesday but I'm already sitting on 53% so unless I don't attempt it I'll pass that unit. eexcite.gif

Only one more unit CUC107 (cultural studies) to submit my major assignment for and its all over for 2 whole weeks before I start my next 2 units.

Enjoying a nice glass of wine and an early night.

Hi,

Congrats on your success!

I have been accepted for a BA Arts/Social work and I am still deciding whether to accept or not. The length of the course stresses me out (8 years part time) and I'm so worried I won;t be able to cope with the workload, parenting, work etc.

How have you found the semester, the work load, content? I've not studied for over 10 years since my first degree. I feel sad that the worry is putting me off following through, but I also have to be realistic! Any advice would be much appreciated.

Is there an option to do postgrad if you already have a degree under your belt? Much shorter - usually 1-1.5 years. That's what I'm doing right now.

Not that I have found. Are you doing a similar course? Would be interested if you have a suggestion for post grad course psych/social work/arts. Thanks!
