My babies are at school as I type this, my house feels so empty, they didn't even care when I left, I had to talk DD into giving me a kiss goodbye as she just wanted me to go. I am so glad they went without tears but a little sad at the same time. They looked so grown up in their school uniforms too.

I was in your shoes last week, my youngest started Prep. Feels very empty and lonely here, I even considered having another!

I don't belong here but just wanted to send you a big hug.
My first started school and even though I still have other children at home I really missed her. I'm so used to the kids being together it just weird and like she was meant to still be around. We all cried at the drop off - emotional family

We will all get used to it eventually.

They had a blast, DS2 came out of his class with a huge grin on his face holding a nice little poem with his hand print plus a drawing Apparently he decided to "water the lawn" while out playing so we have had to discuss using toilets lol. Within a half hour of getting home he had fallen asleep in my bed lol, poor bugger was exhausted (he still has an afternoon sleep which he had to miss to go to school so he was knackered).

DD came out of her class very quiet, but said she had a good time, DS1 got her talking and she told us she made new friends but can't remember their names, saw DS2 in the playground and did some puzzles.

No school for them today, they are in kinder (WA) so go 2 full days and 1 half day, though the first 3 weeks are staggered to get them used to it all (so this week it is going to be all half days).
