Started TT DS about 3 weeks ago.

He got the wee bit pretty quickly and his poos we have has some success with in recent days.

However this has been done mostly bare bummed and at home.

As soon as I put him in undies or pants he thinks its a nappy and doesn't use his potty.

I have taught him how to pull his undies down, I have taken him to the loo before we go out, I have put him in undies at home and talked to him about the difference between undies and Nappies and that he needs to poo and wee in his potty when wearing undies, but while he tells me he understands he continues to poo and wee in them.

He is 3 in April.

Do I continue trying, or is he just maybe not ready yet.

I thought about leaving him in undies when we are home, put putting him in pull-ups of we are out and about and hoping that he gets it.

Any advice pretty please???

I used to put my girls in undies at home and pull up or nappy when out or when friends were over. I started out with half a day in undies. I found they were sick of it all by the arvo and stuck with a nappy after their day sleep.

Take it easy don't stress and just take it slowly. I wouldn't turn back now.

My daughter did really well naked/bare-bummed. As soon as I put undies on, we had accidents. I was unsure what to do, but it was sort of like a 'stage 2' - she had to have a few accidents in the pants before she clicked. During this time I have put her in nappies for out and about. Today was the first day I risked going out in public with no nappies. I put a waterproof thing on the car seat and had some tracksuit pants on just in case! But she did fine. So keep going, you're doing great.
