For those that have read " Tomorrow when the War Began " What would you do if you were put in their situations.

Basically, the story consist of a group of teenagers who go camping in heavy bush and while their gone, the country is invaded and their parents and everyone else is taken hostage but the invaders.

These survival situations have always interested me!

What would you do?

I love that series! :-)

I would probably do much the same as the teens in the book, go bush and stay as remote as possible. I may not be as active a guerrilla as they were, but I wouldn't say no to occasionally blowing things up, provided I actually knew how (and put it this way, I have a much better idea of that after reading the books!).

I don't know that I could kill someone in cold blood though, not up close, anyway. In a fight for survival, sure, but just to get someone out of my way? That would be the hardest part.

Same as them. We would head out bush to mates "hidden" log cabin. Far enough out to be safe but close enough to get access to food.

DP and i have discussed it in lenght haha

I would go bush to protect my son these days but when I was a teen I would have turned terrorist i think. If they had my son I would definitely be a terrorist.

Great series.

Me? Probably curl up and cry...or surrender? I have no idea. Is this hypothetical current me or teenage me like in the books? Now that I'm a parent I hope I would fight for my family's survival but unfortunately my practical skills in living off the land are subpar.

Soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur.
I'd probably be completely oblivious and walk straight back into the situation to the same fate as everyone else.

I would pray that I was actually bush already when it happened. If I was I would stay bush, I wouldn't try and blow things up or anything - perhaps pre pregnancy I may have.
