I have successfully burnt songs from my Itunes acct. to disc,but am not having the same luck with tv shows,they seem to be brnt,but then when i try to play them,none of my devices seem to be recognising the format? What am I doing wrong?

When you burn music to CD it normally converts it to a CD readable format, as opposed to the mp4 files on your computer.

Burning movies to DVD doesn't convert anything, so you need a player that can play the iTunes format, or you need to convert them to an acceptable DVD format. Be aware that an mp4 movie is usually about 700MB, converting back to DVD will be substantially larger.

You need to convert the mp4 files back to DVD. I used to do this but it's been years so I'm not sure what the best software is these days.

I've got a Bluray player with a USB input, so I just copy everything to a portable hard drive and watch it from that. It saves heaps of time and I don't need to buy any discs.
