Is a Furminator worth the money for short-haired moggies? I don't care if its not great for coat quality, these are desexed rescue kitties, but I don't want them to look shaved. I will be "allowed" to comb them probably 5 min. at a time.

Yep, works a treat.

My Domestic SH's luuurve being furminatored! They purr and roll around like they are in catnip.

I don't overdo it and have noticed no difference to their lovely soft coats.

They are rescues too.

Cool. When I was little, my mom had Maine Coon crosses (from Maine, where you could find them roaming) and all I could think was how incredibly awesome it would have been to have it invented in time for them, but wasn't sure how much it would do on shorthairs.

What was I THINKING getting an (incredibly handsome) all-white cat? Shows up on every possible thing!

Our cat loves the furmintor. He rolls around in joy. The amount of hair we remove is amazing. Plus his coat then feels softer. In fact the cat meows and carries on at my husband and leads him to where the furmintor is kept so we know he wants a brush.

I got a furminator for our husky. He loves it. I use the same furminator on the 2 cats and yes they purr and roll and thoroughly enjoy it. Worth every cent. I got mine on ebay at a fraction of the cost.

Soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur.
3 short haired moggies here, though i personally think Mr Cream and Brie could qualify for Mediums.

They luuuuuuuuuuuurve it. Mr Cream is not a purrer, but the Furminator sets him off. And their coats look so purdy afterwards. You can really see the tabby stripes on them because they're not fuzzed out with loose fur lol

I also love my furminator for my cat! Her and the Labrador get done together with husband standing there using the vacuum as we go.
