Mazda 3

Hyundai i30

Toyota Corolla

Holden Cruze

(Ford Focus is ruled out as it is much smaller than the others internally - driver's seat DH just don't fit even though it will not be his car LOL!)

This is a second car. No car seat fitting issues.

Which one would you get?

From that list I'd go with the Mazda 3 - but I am a little biased as I have one myself, it's a 2005 model and has *not* been treated kindly but has never missed a beat. Lovely car to drive, costs a pittance to run but still has plenty of guts when you put your foot down.

Ah but Jenflea is your Subaru in the same price bracket???? We aready have a Ford Territory so are looking for a smaller runaround.

Nope no second hand! New as far as DH is concerned (or ex demo). Seem to be 3 000 000 Mazdas around on the road at the moment. Hyundai i30 has great small car reviews. Personaly I like the look of the Holden Cruze (feels like a mini Commodore . . . .the bogan in me loves this!)

We bought a Mazda 3, for a small run around, out main car is a ford territory too. We bought new as they seem to really hold their value.
