Hi everyone,
This is my second pregnancy &, in a nutshell, I am horrified by how big I am already!! *lol* Thank God it's ok to announce now as it seems blatantly obvious to me & I'm not sure that I could hide it anymore anyway (especially in this hot weather!).

Just wanting to know if anyone else is like this? I recognise that having only had my son 2 years ago my abdominal muscles & everything will have already been pushed out & remained floppy (blah blah blah), but it's almost embarassing that I'm only 3 months & look like I could easily be a month or so further on.

I'm doing my best to 'embrace the bump' & only send positive vibes etc., I do believe I must be very comfy for the little one in there!, but I am feeling very self-conscious sad.gif

God help me if I continue to grow at this rate!!

I didn't show at all til about 18 weeks last time, but this time a man offered me his seat on the train when I was 11 weeks and hadn't made the announcement yet. I hadnt reslised how obvious my belly was already. Plus my boobs completely gave me away, they're double the size they were at this stage last time!

I'm 11 weeks but I suspect that my bump is more food baby than actual baby.

I showed earlier with DS2 and this time round I feel like I look 5 months pregnant at 12 weeks! I was hoping to hide it from work for a few more weeks yet, but I don't think it's going to be possible!

I feel your pain!! I got very round all over staright away - the only thing that helped MS was eating so it was just a food baby at the start now I have a huge, very obvious, hard baby bump original.gif its well above my belly button now... but hey at least the baby is growing - I'm 14 weeks so I guess its about time!... I'm just looking forward to definately looking pregnant, not just that I've been eating too many doughnuts lol...

Sorry for butting in and for sure I don't belong here but I saw it in recent topics. OP if your uterus is well above your belly button at 14 weeks I'd be asking if there was another one in there too original.gif
At 14 weeks you should be about 2/3 fingers breadth just above your pubic bone. Have you had your scan?
Good luck original.gif

I'm 11 weeks and feel like I look about 20 weeks lol granted there was still a bit of tummy left over from last time, but I'm sure I wasn't this big this early first time round. Luckily I was still wearing my maternity jeans anyway!

Well I've compared the pics & it seems I am the same size now (just over 12 weeks) that I was at about 16 weeks the first time!! I know I'm torturing myself but good God!! *lol*

The baby on the scan is only little (the ultrasonographer even put my due date back a few days) & there is only one, so I really have nothing to blame... yes I've been ravenous & I don't suffer from morning sickness (for either of my pregnancies, so lucky!!) so everything I eat stays down..I guess my tummy was just pre-prepared??

Is it just the difference in hormones that make some women really puff up immediately whilst others can stay slender the entire duration of gestation? Hmm..think I'm off to google that one wink.gif
