In CREP testing it does do well across all areas.

It is only a RF to 6m seat so will have lower RF turn to FF then other seats. The turn to Booster markers are not particularly high either.

I would suggest it is a good seat for grandparent car/2nd car.

I don't have a newborn so I will be using it for my 2yr old who is 11 kilos and 5yr old at 19 kilos.
We were in a car crash insurance won't cover all the cost of the car seats just 80% so to buy two of these I have enough cash but really want a good seat for my kids seeing as I have seen how amazing seats are in protecting our kids (also how much impact they can handle).

Thanks for the link also if you have any ideas on what other seats I good for my kids and size?
I wanted to buy 2 knew Maxi riders easy adjust however We won't be getting that amount back I could put my own money towards new ones but I thought infa secure do well in the CREP tests.

What was it called? I have an infa rovette for my rather tall 3 year old and it is great. My 140cm 9 year old can fit in it and her shoulders are only just over the "do not use past this mark" mark.

Iv'e used infa seats for a while and have been impressed with them.

19kgs 5yo I would go a New Maxi Rider or a straight dedicated booster seat. The Hipod Boston tests well by CREP.

Perhaps get this for the 2yo but I would suggest better 5pt harness life out of the New Maxi or an SnS Lifestyle/Compaq. Their turn to booster markings are higher.

Also note someone recently posted the Pram Warehouse had good prices for the New Maxi Rider.

For my 5yr old the reason why I haven't gone for a hi liner or similar seat is in the crash she took the whole thing the other vehicle pretty much smash straight into her door and her side was really horrible and scary and she was in a Maxi rider ahr ( I think the ahr is the bit in the middle) now her seat was dented but I really feel the reason why she was ok besides cuts from the glass is her seat took the impact but the ahr part kind of protected her head ect... and she came out without any serious damage.
So I am really looking towards having a seat that has the same.
I know that the crep results have the hi liner quite well but I think its my personal preference to have a similar seat she was in just seeing from our accident how well i think she was protected but also want a seat that has good reviews and CREP tested well ( the seat she was in was not at the top lists of CREP but I think it did well in the accident we had)

Really I would love to never get in a car again and walk everywhere but i know I have to just move on and make sure that the kids are always restrained properly so I know I have done my best.

I thought Britax had a replacement program? I have an Infa Secure Odyssey for my large 3 yr old and will be switching to a easy adjust soon as I have been talking to their customer service team about their seat.

Go the New Maxi then if you are going to use the 5pt harness for your 5yo.

Glad to hear that you and the kids are fine. First thing I did after my accident was replace my seats with the same seat, knowing how it had protected my bubs.

If you were in an accident log on to the britax website. They replace our two car seats after a crash at no cost to us. You do have to send your old seats in and do it within 90 days.
