We have a corner carousel if that's what you mean? I love it to pieces. It does lose some space in the cupboard but we had to have a corner cupboard so it means we use the corner, the cupboard isn't over-full and things don't get lost.

I rather not have corner cupboards, but if you have to, the carousel/lazy susan rotating shelves are pretty good - we've got 4 corner cupboards, the overhead ones have very sturdy glass shelves, and the lower ones have plastic shelves (tupperware cupboard.)
ETA, the lower ones are MDF or similar, not plastic. This post has been edited by SeaPrincess: 03/02/2013, 07:15 PM |

I love mine, so much easier than corner cupboards. I have this sort of thing....
http://www.google.com.au/imgres?imgurl=htt...AQ&dur=1768 Either side will be unused space, in a triangle shape. In my kitchen the sink is the next thing over from the drawers, so we've mounted an under counter bin in the 'dead' space. Like this http://www.kitchensource.com/trash/rv-countermount.htm I think I love the bin more than the drawers now that I think about it LOL. No bending down, easy to empty, and really easy to clean, and holds a surprising large amount (I use old shopping bags as bin liners). Go the bin! ps I use the top of the lid of the bin as a trivet for hot stuff This post has been edited by Romeo Void: 04/02/2013, 08:29 PM |

I don't have either, but two houses ago I lived with a carousel thingy in a blind cupboard. In my current kitchen, the largest cupboards are the two corner cupboards, with ordinary shelves, so I have been thinking about your question since you posted.
I would say that while the carousels/lazy susans are better than nothing, I personally would prefer to have a bit of dead space in the corners in exchange for the accessibility that would be gained by installing the drawers. I would guess the drawers would be significantly more expensive though! |

I've just realised that one of the corners is on the breakfast bar bit (cause after being in the house for more than a year, I'm a bit slow on noticing the potential of these things!!), so there is the option of having the cupboard open in the dining room, rather than a traditional corner cupboard....
And then corner drawers in the other corner... |

I like the idea of the cupboard opening in the other room... those corner cupboards (which I obviously googled after your first post - being your #1 stalker an' all) look like a recipe for jammed fingers to me!
