I have been reconsidering my short list (Maeve has been the front runner so far) and I have fallen in love with Neva (an alternative to the popular Eva).

So is Neva nice or not? People's thoughts?

That's interesting feedback. I hadn't thought of it as a name for teasing. Why do you say that? Not criticising your view - just wondering what I've overlooked???

Because it looks like a misspelling of never, although I realise it is not pronounced that way. I can see primary school aged kids being all over that. lol

If a cat doesn't like you, then what's wrong with you?
I prefer Neve/Niamh or Nova or Eva, but I think. It's perfectly fine.

I don't think it's going to attract too much teasing as I'm assuming it's pronounced like Neve with an A on the end and not like Never?
