Got off the pill 1.1.13 Got onto an ovulation tracker app on my phone, tells me to have sex 13-17, I do. Two weeks later BFN:(
But then on the 26.1.13 I got EWCM and had sex straight away..
What are my chances??
Waiting is driving me crazy!!
Which will be more accurate, Clear Blue or Forelife, depending on the sensitivity
Thank you guys original.gif

Hi there.

When you come off the pill your cycles can take a few months to get them selves into a rhythm. So using an ovulation tracker may not be accurate because your cycles are not yet in a cycle. Does that make sense?
Your cervical mucus is a much better indicator, but maybe just give your body a chance to reset itself and do what it does best. For any normal couple it can take up to 12 months to conceive. Unless age is working against you I would just give it a bit of time. Work out your body cycles and don't freak out. It's only been a month.
If you are getting a bit older, I'd still just give it a bit more time, but maybe talk to your GP in a couple of months.
All the very best. Any other girls out there with better suggestions, please correct me. original.gif

Thanks, Age isn't the thing that's making me want to rush things, It's time, we've agreed for 3 months of trying then stop because any later and our possible baby will make having our long planned for wedding to happen, I dont think DP will change his mind sad.gif
But thank you for your reply original.gif

3 months is such a short time! I'd be following your body, NOT an app.

I went by cervical mucus and we conceived on the 3rd cycle of the pill. But pretty sure we were quite lucky.

Good luck.

it can take a month to a year or so till your body "can" ovulate properly to conceive...

sounds strange, but...

took us 6 months of ttc and i was on the pill for 10 years

relax and let nature take its course... don rely on app, chart your temp and go from that - that will tell you if you ovulate...
