I am interested to hear from people who have been preggers before what differences there are between EPS and signs that AF is on the way if any.

In the early days of pregnancy with my daughter I wasn't particularly paying attention. The 2 things I noticed was 1) the morning sickness - I dont usually get nauseous and 2) I put a shirt on one day (I wore this shirt in one of 2 colours once a week) and looked down and was like "wow! Where did they come from!?" Then reached forward to get my cardigan. My arm brushed against the side of my boob Sooo gently and it was AGONY! I do sometimes get sore boobs around AF but this was... ouch! Really full on compared to normal. Within a day or 2 of symptoms I went to the drs and got a blood test confirming pregnancy and a couple of days after that I had the ultrasound showing that I was about 7 weeks, so I didn't have noticeable (to me). Symptoms for a while!

I mistook EPS for AF - I wasn't even due yet, just thought it had come early, so that would have been about a week after conception I reckon. Really sore breasts - much more than normal AF in hindsight - and feeling a little bit generally emotionally yergh. I didn't get the strong backache I usually get with AF or quite so grumpy.

We were 'trying' and I had cramps which never eventuated into period. I usually had cramps only the day before getting period, but that time, after about 2-3 days of cramping I tested, and voila! It was very very early, but definitely pregnant

No other symptoms for ages.

with my pregnancies I always felt exhausted out of the blue around 10DPO, like could barely make it off the lounge! I also got my BFPs around 9/10DPO. I wouldnt get and cramping etc for another few weeks so not like AF at all for me.

My breasts were ridiculously sore and huge, and I felt like my period was going to arrive at any second. I don't think I stopped checking the toilet paper for weeks, even after my BFP because I just felt like AF was imminent.

Yes, for me both times, Early pregnancy felt exactly like premenstrual symptoms. Perhaps my boobs were a tad more sensitive than usual? but otherwise i really felt like my period was coming. Running to the toilet to check constantly . Nausea and other pregnancy symptoms didnt start for me til I was about 7 weeks pregnant.

It feels very similar to AF for me i.e. the cramps (in fact with DD I was so upset because I thought AF was coming and I had miscarried not long beforehand....) Instead of bleeding though, I get lots of discharge (EWCM like). This discharge continues right through pregnancy for me.

The time that I miscarried, I didn't have either of these symptoms. All that happened was that I missed a period.

However I don't get the normal pg symptoms e.g. morning sickness, tiredness etc. so I'm not a good person to use as a reference!!!

Yes, for my first pregnancy I almost delayed taking a pregnancy test because it felt exactly like I was getting my period - dull, low back pain, a little bloated, generally a bit blargh.
It was only at 5-6 weeks pregnant that morning sickness started and by 8 weeks my breasts deserved their own orbiting moons.
My second pregnancy started the same but at least I knew not to delay the pregnancy test.

Mine felt exactly like my period arriving, only thing that made me take a test was drying off after a shower, I brushed my nipple with the towel and nearly cried! So sore.

Otherwise, just like a pp it felt like AF was going to arrive every second.
