DS is turning 9, we have a boat, tubes, kneeboards and life jackets etc.
We were thinking we might have about 3 or 4 friends for a day of fun on the water at the local lake.
DH takes his boat licence seriously and has never had a child thrown out of the tube etc.
Is he a bit young for this type of party? Would you allow your 8/9 y.o. to go?

Save me Barry!
So, that's four guests plus your son making a total of 5 children in all? If your husband knows CPR and the children were wearing life jackets all the time, I would think about it

Oh my 9yo would LOVE that. With those limited numbers only, I'd be ok with it, but anymore than 5 kids I'd not be too sure.

I'd probably feel more comfortable if my being there was an option. Not sure to be honest...even with a strong swimmer. Sounds like a lot of fun though!

I'd allow it if I knew your family well, probably wouldn't let my kid go with a family we didn't know.
