We have the final 2 names.....Emma (everyone loves this but it is common)....or Roxie.
What are the issues with having Emma? The last name is Matheison....so will she always be referred to as Emma M ( to differentiate her from the other Emma's around? )....would that be annoying /confusing? I have a unique name so I never had this issue arise.....
Thanks

I think Emma goes better with your surname.

If a cat doesn't like you, then what's wrong with you?
Emma.

I prefer Roxie - if nothing else than if I were constantly known as Emma M at school it would drive me nuts.

Roxie is quite cute and underused, whereas Emma is everywhere.

I don't dislike the name Emma, but I hate the way people always shorten it to 'Em'...drives me around the twist. For this reason, I'd go with Roxie (or Roxy)...its got spunk! There's a Roxy in my daughter's Grade 1 class, and she's gorgeous!!

I would choose Emma. I don't think it is too popular for contemporary babies.

I'm not a fan of Roxie as a full name. I would consider Roxine or Roxana with the surname.

Emma all the way. Roxie reminds me of a theatre in San Francisco.

Not a fan of either name. Emma is just so common now, but Roxie is worse to me (for some reason it made me think of a strip club!) Sorry!

Unless Roxie was short for Roxana, I would choose Emma.
