Mirror, mirror, shiny glass, tell me that is NOT my ass!!
Allie - When I first started inj. (with IUI) I remember the first couple of days I had a headache, but they seemed to ease off a bit after a couple of days. I put it down to my body waking up.

AFM: I thought AF would arrive yesterday as I had a bit of cramping. But I think it might have been the BDíng ph34r.gif the first since the D&C and had a DOH moment as I forgot I was booked in the next morning for the check up from the op and a Pap Smear as well. Whoops! Not the sharpest tool in the shed.

Amber - I am so sorry to hear that. Am i right in interpreting your signature that you have one more frozen embryo for next month or do you need to start another stim cycle?

I have this dreaded feeling that the same thing will happen to us this month.

Allie - i have had the worst headaches too, and i wondered if they were Gonal related. On Wed i ended up with a migraine so severe that it made me vomit sad.gif

Bwok - i have lost track of the thread. Are you waiting to do a FET or a Stim cycle this month? Make sure you are really kind to yourself this month. It is hard to imagine the pressure out bodies may be under with all that we have to do original.gif

AFM - I have my first BT tomorrow morning to check E2 levels so should have a better idea about O dates and then transfer date. I seem to have a lot of CM already (sorry TMI) do you think that stimulating the follicles might produce more O symptoms like CM?

I am not looking forward to starting the clexane injections. I have heard that the needle is quite blunt therefore quite painful. Apparantly the Gonal pens are so well refined they make some of the other injectables seem a lot worse. I used ovidrel and cetrotide for my last stim and survived so surely it can't be that bad (do i sound convincing?).

Amber - I am so sorry!

STL - A Stim! From IVF#1 we got 14 eggs, 11 fertilised, 1 made it on board and only 1 made it to freeze. Sorry I can't help with the Clexane as I haven't had it.

AFM: Nothing else to report - I'm boring original.gif

ETA: Allie has the headache settled down?

Hi STL,

If you're nervous about the injection you might want to pick up some Emla cream from the chemist which numbs the area and use an icecube or frozen (sterilized) coin on the area before and after. I had to do it every injection due to phobia and it made it much less painful and stressful.

Good luck!
