I am currently pregnant with my second bub and I'm stuck on a middle name for her. Complicated by the fact I know the gender, but DH doesn't (party pooper!) so name discussions are.... interesting! He keeps saying we have plenty of time, I think the second half of my pregnancy flew last time, I want a name sorted!
The first name I've chosen (and run past DH, he likes it too) that I'm pretty set on is Leila. But I"m stuck on a middle name Leila Violet (My current fav, but likely to have changed my mind tomorrow!!) Leila Kate Leila Georgia Leila Jayde Leila Jasmine (second fave, although Jasmine is the name of our friend's daughter, so might not be possible) Leila Eloise (? too many L's?) A google search puts the top 2 ideas as Grace and Rose, but Grace is DD1's middle name and Rose is my mother in law - both out. Any other suggestions welcome! |

I think you have to reject anything ending in 'A' and anything with "L" in it - leaning towards Kate or Jade (but would ditch the superfluous "Y").

I like Jade but Jayde gives me a twitch.
I like Leila Violet the best. Jasmine (which is pleasant) reminds me of related names Jessamy and Jessamine, which are the same flower - I adore Carolina Jessamine in my mother's garden - but far enough away in sound not to tick off Jasmine's mother if that's what you're worried about. Grace and Rose are one syllable so tend to flatter names like Leila - some other ideas could be Claire, Faith, May, Jewel, Fern, Blythe, Jane, Ruth, or Maeve. |

I'm afraid I'm not keen on any of your options, so I'm going to second some that others have suggested!
