I have the most gorgeous little boy, Heart melting moment

DH had a bad day at work today and came home in a pretty bad mood. When we were sitting down having dinner DS (3) was watching him and all of a sudden states "Daddy is sad". He then got up went to the other side of the table and started to pat DH on the back and asked him what was wrong, before giving him a big squeezy cuddle. He was satisfied when DH gave him a smile and declare "Daddy's happy now" and proceeded to finish his dinner. I almost cried! (pregnant hormones) Sweetest little boy ever!

Ignorance is not a point of view.
I have beenhaving some problems with breastfeeding lately, and it really hurts to feed DS2 from my left side. I was concemtrating on getting DS2 to latch properly, I must have looked very serious because DS1 came up, gave me a big hug and said, "Mummy, can you be happy?" It is lovely when you see that empathy coming through, isn't it, OP?

He sounds lovely, and a bit like mine. We have to be so careful around my sensitive little soul. DH was having a go at me for an ill-timed phone call, and DS (2.5) said, 'Daddy is getting fust-ur-rated with you Mummy. He is cross.' We both cracked up, and said yes, Daddy was frustrated. Then he asked, 'Are you happy Mummy? Happy now?' We reassured him that I was happy. He has also started saying 'I love you xyz,' unprompted to his baby brother, even when he thinks we're out of earshot.

All nice stories. I have two 3 year olds, I work only part-time, while a nanny cares for them at home (or the park, or wherever really), but every time I walk back into the house, one of them will run to cuddle me saying "Mummy, we were so worried about you!"

AWWW. I always think my DS is going to grow up to be such a georgeous boyfriend to some girl. When he sees me upset or crying, he doesn't ask why or what's going on, he just comes right up to me and gives me a beautiful hug and kiss. Works like a charm. DD is more feisty. When I was crying during a fight with DH, she asked me "Daddy naughty?" and went and kicked him
